Syn: Limonia crenulata Roxb.; Hesperethusa crenulata (Roxb.) M. Roem.
Local Name: Bentha, Ranabele, Kumbali.

Small tree with spines. Branches are pubescent. Leaves are winged with 5-7 leaflets. Flowers are white. Fruits are berry globose and turn black when ripe. It is common in scrub and drier forests of the state.

Flowering : April to June.
Fruiting: November to December.
