Tuber of Dioscorea is burned for the detoxification of antinutritional
factors and tribal communities enjoy the taste of dioscorea. Tubers are
full of starch and diverse types of secondary metabolites. Photographs
were taken by me and Sakira during field work.
Our Research Team.. collecting the plant parts for experimental work and
ethnomedicinal values of Dioscorea species. The tribal use the roasted
tubers in breakfast.....
